Data Scientists on our commercial team are trained to be technical, operational and industry business leaders, acting as critical members of our business teams, helping to achieve above average incremental growth. As a Sr. Manager - Data Scientist on the Ecommerce Data Science team, you will be responsible for implementing a data science roadmap, developing mid and jr. level data scientists, and leading data science engagements that deliver business value and customer insights to the broader Ecommerce team. Ecommerce is a core initiative at Keurig Dr. Pepper (KDP). The coffee maker sale is moving online at pace; the majority of small appliance spending is expected to move online over the next five years. Meanwhile, beverage sales are already driving early scale in online grocery at retailers such as Amazon.com, Walmart.com and many others. KDP Ecommerce, already well developed compared to peer Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) categories, is well-positioned to drive the majority of KDP’s growth over the next five years. You will act as both a strategic and technical leader whose purpose is to improve KDP’s overall business performance through the analysis of data, development and deployment of predictive models, and the discovery of insights about our online shoppers, customers, partners and competitors. In the short-term you will help the ecommerce team better understand their current customer base, sales channels, and competitor behavior so they can target new customers, increase online sales, optimize subscription services and increase long-term customer value for the enterprise. You will oversee the mining of Clickstream, POS, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and complimentary online retail data, with the ultimate goal of developing and deploying real-time predictive modeling tools that deliver a uniquely personalized automated shopping experience across our broad portfolio of online sales channels. What you will do: - Oversee data science projects through the project lifecycle, from scoping through to online implementation.- You will be a hands-on leader, overseeing data exploration and analysis techniques to examine clickstream, POS, and IOT data from multiple disparate sources, with the goal of improving customer understanding and providing a competitive advantage for Keurig’s ecommerce business teams. - Recommend and oversee appropriate statistical and predictive modeling concepts, clustering and classification techniques, and recommendation algorithms to help optimize customer targeting, reduce churn, and increase customer life-time-value. - Recruit train, guide, and coach jr. and mid-level analytics team members with the ultimate objective of creating a best-in-class Data Science and Business Analytics Function at KDP.- Ensure data and code integrity by conducting documentation and code reviews. - Translate and break apart day-to-day business challenges into manageable segments for data science application.- Navigate many multi-functional stakeholders, and communicate technical results effectively to non-technical audiences. - Work closely with IT and Data Engineering resources to help facilitate a collaborative, data science focused agenda - Implement strategic analyses with the know-how to balance getting the details right, while still moving at the speed of business.- Help to create and develop a replicable Data Science roadmap that can be deployed across KDP as an enterprise.
Fleet Mechanic Level III - Pittsburgh, PAThe Fleet Mechanic will perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, vans and forklifts as directed by Fleet Manager and Lead Technician. This individual also disassembles and overhauls motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and electrical systems. Salary and Benefits Information: The rate of pay is based on experience. Attractive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, etc).Schedule and Shift: This is a full time, permanent position Monday - Friday. Two shifts availible starting either at 7:00am or 12:00pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled. Position Responsibilities- Maintain and repair fleet equipment and perform preventative maintenance.- Diagnose vehicle failures and disassemble, repair and reassemble parts as necessary.- Adhere to OSHA, DOT and EPA regulatory compliance standards. Maintenance MechanicThe Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical / electrical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines, boilers, pumps, liquid fillers, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, bulk delivery equipment, and blending/mixing systems. This position will primarily focus on the utilities side of maintenance. Position Responsibilities- Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.- Wire moderately complex control circuits.- Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases.- Weld various types of metals.- Machine most metals, plastics, and composites.- Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.- Complete size changeovers, make adjustments, and trouble shoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.- Identify problems and completes repairs, with minimal downtime or supervision.- Troubleshoot and program minor changes in Allen Bradley PLC (SLC500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix.- Troubleshoot 3ph 480v motors and VFDs including replacement and / or programming
The Automation Controls Engineer III is responsible for developing, implementing, supporting and improving a broad variety of automated control systems. These systems range in scope from simple single loop controllers and relay logic to advanced HMI - PLC based systems. The Automation Controls Engineer (ACE) will know and understand how to connect automation with the processes of coffee roasting, packaging and distribution. What you will do: - Develop controls and automation skills and capabilities within the maintenance and engineering team. This will require the development and implementation of a controls and automation training program. The goal is to enable the engineers and technicians to perform appropriate controls and electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting prior to calling the controls engineer.- Design, develop, implement and commission control systems for process and production equipment, including systems under test. These systems include a wide variety of controllers, user interfaces, quality analysis and test equipment.- Develop/support and implement data acquisition and reporting systems to support testing and evaluation work in accordance company and site goals.- Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control automation centric projects.- Develop control strategies and PLC programs to operate plant equipment. Support the checkout, commissioning, and optimization of equipment. Meet with process equipment suppliers to verify system conformance and compliance with plant computer, electrical, and instrumentation standards.- Define and set system standards for automated control systems, at both the hardware and software levels.- Recommend and apply automated systems or modifications to improve employee safety, assure consistent product quality, improve manufacturing efficiencies, and reduce manufacturing costs and waste.- Support local site resources to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve serious and complex control problems.- Exercise proper change control procedures and maintain system documentation.- Ensure business continuity through industry standards and good engineering practices.- Manage and coordinate activity on larger capital and continuous improvement projects.- Interface with and support various other functions and levels within the organization.- Perform other duties as assigned.- Follow all company policies and procedures
Plant Operations Manager - Williamson, NYThe Operations Manager is responsible for the overall direction, guidance and safety of a manufacturing department. This includes organizing and directing all departmental related activities on all shifts, including providing leadership, direction and facilitation of production line teams, maintenance, quality and materials. Responsbilities- Direct all departmental related activities to ensure the timely execution of the production schedule to meet production and service goals. Ensure a high level of customer service while meeting inventory management goals, including raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.- Ensure a safe and orderly working environment, free of slip/trip hazards; maintain compliance to meet/exceed all site and regulatory requirements.- Deliver cost and performance; complete projects & assignments on-time, and according to plan. Develop and execute a capital plan for the department.- Manage all departmental quality related activities to insure a high level of food safety and product quality.- Manage all departmental maintenance activities; maintain equipment in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.- Have a track record of successful continuous improvement initiatives and results, with a focus upon lean manufacturing and 5S. Identify, recommend and execute continuous improvement initiatives in the production operation including process, machinery, method and material changes, in support of plant goals.
