    We are seeking a talented Art Director to join our in-house agency. In the role of Art Director, you will lead the conceptual and strategic design solutions for national brands within our portfolio. We are seeking a candidate with previous CPG experience who is passionate about brands and bringing brands to life through high caliber creative for all aspects of the consumer journey. Candidates should have prior experience of at least 9+ years in the design industry and 2+ in an Art Director role.

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conceptualize and design for a wide variety of projects such as branding (new brand development and rebrands), packaging design, product launches, retail activation and content creation

     

      • Serve as a team lead and mentor to the other designers on your team
      • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion
    • Concepting and leading photo and video shoots

     

    • Ability to think strategically and conceptualize creatively (Always seeking the bigger picture and asking why)
    • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
    • Work closely with internal teams and manage internal and external resources to meet project needs and timelines

    Requirements

    • BA or BFA in graphic design or related field or equivalent experience
    • Outstanding portfolio showcasing strengths in identity and packaging design
    • Prior experience of at least 9+ years in the design industry and 2+ in an Art Director role. (Prior CPG experience preferred)
    • Current knowledge of design and packaging industry trends
    • Advanced technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite programs (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) and proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to lead, collaborate and act as an integral part of a fast-paced creative team
    • Passion and a positive attitude with a fluid mindset

    • This role is based at the KDP Waterbury, VT office location and requires 15-25% travel
