Do you want to have cradle-to-grave ownership over the new product innovations that hit our consumers everywhere coffee is consumed?  How would you like to work for an awesome company with a strong track record and focused on high rate growth?  Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is seeking a new Product Management leader, reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Away from Home appliances, with an entrepreneurial spirit that gets charged by real business accountability and consumer delight.  You’ll be accountable for our connected Bean-to-Cup brewer product line, defining our overall strategy to gain market share, developing both the product and connected roadmap to feed the strategy, and leading the team in executing the programs to deliver the roadmap. 

     

    As part of our revamped strategy, we are expanding our Away from Home business into new coffee formats beyond our single serve brewers - This candidate will be the product champion and lead the charge into these new formats. They’ll work closely with a cross-functional team to ensure success of the product for our consumers, customers, and the KDP business at launch.  This includes creating a deep understanding of our customers and consumers with our Consumer Insights team, defining and delivering on the product innovation with our Engineering/R&D teams, defining new connected requirements and use cases with our Keurig Connected team, attracting new customers and consumers to our system with the Marketing team, and delivering a successful program launch and sell with our Commercial and Operations teams.

     

    What you will do:

    • Product Strategy and Product Roadmaps: Create product strategy and product roadmap for Keurig Bean-to-Cup Away from Home brewers
    • Connected Roadmaps: Develop new customer, consumer, and business use cases for connected brewers and create product roadmap to deliver
    • Evangelize and champion Away from Home brewer programs that support the larger KDP and category-specific strategy
    • Define new brewer business cases and deliver against key targets, including brewer cost, volumes, and in-market consumer/customer validation
    • Intake, rank, and validate a wide variety of ideas to fill the product innovation and connected pipeline
    • Develop product requirements and creative briefs to drive new product development activities
    • Lead cross functional team through Stage Gate process to develop new products
    • Analyze market data, consumer insights, product performance, and making strategic recommendation about product and product line roadmaps
    • Engage deeply with our customers and consumers and drive research to inform product strategy and program target setting
    • Track projects against set objectives, analyze and evaluate success of the projects, and pursue path to optimization
    • Manage continuous improvement of product line to meet emerging consumer needs and optimize business performance
    • May require up to 10% travel at times

    Requirements

    What you must have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, and/or related field required, MBA preferred
    • Experience with product management, new product development, and product line management
    • Experience with connected products preferred
    • > 10 years of total professional experience, > 5 years in a similar role preferred with demonstrated success launching products to consumer and/or commercial market
    • Flexible mindset and passion for product development and consumer packaged goods
    • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with all levels of the organization and externally with partners
    • Flexibility - Able to shift priorities quickly and remain calm and focused under pressure; able to manage multiple projects/requests and meet deadlines
    • Exercises good judgment; understands when to involve others in the decision-making process
    • Ability to interface with technical resources in developing and designing brewing systems and Sales team on go-to-market activities
    • Possess ability to manage highly complex projects with strong attention to detail
