  • Job Overview

    The Supply Chain Analyst III is responsible for performing complex supply chain analyses and aligning business stakeholders to make smart decisions quickly. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, thrives in a fast paced environment, and has the ability to push projects forward even if all requirements have not been defined.

     

    What you will do:

    • Conduct cross-functional Supply Chain analysis and strategic decision-making, where the modeling of flows, inventory levels, and cost of manufacturing, distribution, transportation and inventory is involved.
    • Compile large supply chain datasets – often for formal data submissions to equipment vendors or third party service providers.
    • Summarize analysis conclusions into concise presentation materials for executive review.
    • Create formal business case materials for supply chain projects.
    • Drive all analyses to meaningful conclusions. Gain stakeholder alignment on key decisions and clearly define action plans once a decision is made.
    • Bring together stakeholders for decision-making, review, and direction on major initiatives.
    • Build complex supply chain models using optimization software (e.g. network optimization modeling, facility simulations, inventory optimization modeling)
    • On occasion – serve as a project manager on major supply chain initiatives

    Requirements

    What you must have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, mathematics, engineering, business, or related field preferred; Master’s degree in business, operations research, or related field preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in a related role.
    • Flexible and able to work in a rapidly changing environment.
    • Expert analytical capabilities including advanced knowledge of Excel and demonstrated competence with data structures/SQL, statistical functions, linear programming, and process simulation techniques.
    • Critical thinking and problem solving skills, including knowledge of operations tools and concepts such as DMAIC, Lean Manufacturing, and the Theory of Constraints.
    • Ability to push forward on projects, even when all of the requirements have not been defined.
    • Detailed and deadline-orientated to meet regular and periodic needs of the business for accurate and timely information.
    • Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Point required including other Microsoft suite products.
    • Must be able to create a professional presentation of results, including determining results-first or results-last approaches, ability to construct results that “tell a story”, and ability to lead an audience to the proper conclusions or decisions relevant to the situation.
    • Ability to independently perform complex analysis where data gathering, working with internal and external stakeholders, selection of analytical methods, and synthesizing many quantitative and qualitative inputs is required.
    • Broad understanding of the coffee industry, the beverage industry, and Keurig's different sales channels; and the ability to judge what considerations (cost, service levels, lead times, etc.) are most important within those contexts.
    • Ability to follow KDP Policies and Procedures as well as our Operating Principles.
