    Job Description

     

    What will I do as a Panel Manager for Connected Data?

    As innovators in In Home connected coffee consumption data, KDP is looking for a passionate manager for our data and connected panel brewers with strong organizational and analytical skills to run the Keurig Connected Panel and Platform. You will be responsible for the overall quality and maintenance of data for all aspects of the panel including management, retention, recruitment, and defining the operational processes to enhance the current panel design and capabilities, including launching new connected brewers to the panel. The Panel Manager takes action to mitigate against attrition, communicates with stakeholders to maximize data flow, runs analysis on the incoming data to ensure accuracy, and owns the panel operational roadmap. You are energetic; details focused with an eye on the over-arching goal, and like to see projects through from start to end.

     

    What are the responsibilities of a Panel Manager?

    To be successful as the Panel Manager you must possess and be able to execute upon four key skill sets:

     

    1. Detail Orientated: Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures for the panel, its data and products:
      1. Own the strategic roadmap to ensure business needs are met for functionality and productivity attainment
      2. Product and panel management – launch new connected brewers to the panel to enhance our data-set and manage the panel life-cycle roadmap
      3. Manage and lead the relationship with internal and external data teams to ensure data is accurate, flows through systems correctly, and is delivered on time with no errors
      4. Work with multiple cross-function teams to understand detailed requirements and deliverables for data and appliances, while keeping the big picture in mind
      5. Supervise and manage research flow for the panel, overseeing design of research activities to keep members engaged as well as interpreting and acting upon that information

     

    1. Organizational Skills: Ability to work through challenges and manage multiple high priority activities concurrently
      1. Lead the streamlining of panel management, sample database, and recruitment related processes, from proposal to go live
      2. Coordinate and conduct training for staff on new processes
      3. Coordinate with recruitment specialists to identify new ways to attract prospective panelists
      4. Manage and meet with stakeholders on panel projects including but not limited to customized reporting, data management and progress updates to the business

     

    1. Continuous improvement: monitor the panel, making a conscious effort to understand causes and enact improvements
      1. Facilitate the estimation process for new initiatives and change requests and monitor adherence to original timings for business commitments
      2. Proactively understand drivers of attrition, take action to reduce attrition and maintain current panelists
      3. Support requests for reports on panel specific trends, behavior and brewer activity
      4. Maintain documentation for products, procedures and for specific projects as required

     

    1. Impactful presence: Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills:
      1. Acts as SPOC for The Connected Data Panel engagement on all panel related topics
      2. Seek out and complete ongoing training to expand operations knowledge to develop expertise across all facets of end to end delivery, including panelist lifecycle
      3. Passionate about driving improvement and leading change
      4. Take initiative with internal teams to understand their business use-cases and work towards supporting those needs

     

    This is a strategically important role and requires a motivated, detailed-oriented Panel Manager who can operate at a high-level to understand the business needs and then execute with precision.

    Requirements

    What are the qualifications for the Panel Manager?

    • 4+ years’ experience managing and maintaining consumer panels of households or individuals, preferably at a CPG company, or a research supplier focused on CPG businesses
    • Proficient understanding of panel and sample design strategies
    • Strong relationship management and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively across functions
    • Exceptional communication, management, and organizational skills with a proven ability to execute
    • Highly efficient self-starter, detail-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team – with an enthusiasm and passion for the job
    • Demonstrates innovative thinking and strong analytical problem-solving skills
    • Adept with Qualtrics or similar self-service survey tool; experience supervising and/or running a research community is desirable
    • Experience in market research data collection and/or technology a plus
