    The Director, Human Resources provides business partnership to the Asia based, Appliances business unit to enable the business to achieve its mission and business goals by creating an environment which attracts, retains and develops talent.  This is achieved in many or most of the following areas: recruitment, compensation, training, employee and labor relations, employee communications, safety, benefits and employment documentation.  The HR Manager will partner with the business, HRVP and HR COEs to design and lead programs to support the business strategy for long-term, sustained growth.


    The role requires significant customer and business partner orientation, the ability to work independently and influence at a senior level to effectively support change and drive execution.  Additionally, and most importantly, the role will serve as a steward of the Keurig Dr Pepper’s values and organizational behaviors helping to shape our culture.


    The Director, Human Resources will have supervisory responsibility for a China-based HR and report to the VP, Human Resources in the US.


    What you will do:

    • Act as the Asia Region HR leader for the Appliances Business Unit. Lead and provide direction of all HR activities including strategic and tactical initiatives as well as daily activities.
    • This leader will leverage their expertise in the external market and shifts within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry to design, develop and execute an HR strategy that delivers on the employment brand, exceptional employee experience, and cultivates a high-performance culture.  This is achieved through partnership with Appliances VP, Supply Chain and SVP, GM Asia Operations & Product Design, Engineering, and Quality, VP, Human Resources. 
    • Provides strong organization, prioritization, planning, and project management for HR team objectives in support of the Appliances Business Unit.
    • Ensures effective change management and communication principles are used and builds strong two-way communication with the organization.
    • Analyzes business needs, supports the talent management strategy for KDP and influences leadership, management, hiring, succession and promotion decisions.
    • In partnership with business leaders and under the leadership of VP, HR Appliances, defines strategies and initiatives that drive achievement of business goals.
    • In partnership with business leaders and under the leadership of VP, HR Appliances, leads the execution of HR programs and practices, including performance success, compensation, workforce planning/management, and talent management.
    • Oversees the performance management process and reviews and advises management regarding corrective action to improve performance and recognition to motivate exceptional performers.
    • Display intellectual curiosity, eagerness and ability to learn the KDP business model, and an analytical mindset with a focus on delivery.
    • Coach and develop business partners in the areas of performance and talent management to enhance the employee experience.
    • Think independently, investigate and resolve employee relations issues, partnering with legal team, when necessary.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, country, state and local laws around all employment processes
    • Manage the HR/Office budget.


    What you must have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 15 years of experience, Masters preferred, and minimum 10 years experience in Human Resources
    • Prefer experience in a “Fortune 500” company within the Consumer Packaged Goods, Beverage or related industries
    • Experience working in a global, US-based company
    • Strong demonstrated track record of achieving demanding goals
    • Strong leader with the ability to motivate, take risks, and make decisions quickly but with good judgment
    • Exceptional communication and listening skills with the ability to adjust style to effectively interact with external customers and internal staff
    • Ability to influence throughout all levels of the organization, as well as externally
    • Excellent strategic and tactical skills, and an ability to solve problems and set priorities
    • High level of intellect with a “roll-up your sleeves” mentality
    • Strong degree of energy with a results oriented mindset
    • Capable of leading organizational change, including a proven ability to manage resistance
    • Excellent communication skills, strong English written and verbal skills
