    KDP is seeking a Sales Planning manager (SPM) to join our Sales Strategy Planning and Analytics (SSPA) and broader Concentrate & International (C&I) team. This individual will manage monthly performance management tools and analysis of Route-To-Market (RTM) KPIs including annual objectives, innovation, and emerging brand launches. The SPM will leverage syndicated and internal data to analyze bottler and retailer performance trends and unique business opportunities.

     

    The SPM will deliver analyses internally for Executive Leadership to understand drivers of monthly performance, as well as externally to Sales teams and Bottling partners to provide insight into execution opportunities. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, process driven, analytical, solutions oriented, able to manage multiple projects at once, and is able to provide insights into corrective action plans against KPIs.

     

    The candidate will work closely with the RTM respective Sales Analytics Manager (SAM), as well as across Analytics and Planning team to share best practices. And, as the key connection between the field sales team and HQ, they will work cross-functionally across Commercial, IT, and Supply Chain.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage Monthly Business Review process for respective cola / independent bottling system
    • Manage and Analyze KPI tools and reporting
    • Support management of innovation and new brand launches through the development and tracking of scorecards, and analysis on drivers of performance and opportunities
    • Examine and interpret results of KPIs with the capability to dig into the high-level metrics to inform leadership on drivers of leading indicators
    • Learn and develop expertise in internal volumetric data (e.g. KDP shipments and bottler depletions), as well as syndicated data sources (e.g. IRI)
    • Work closely with SAM to develop, manage, and analyze performance management tools.
    • Leveraging performance management tools, act as an advisor to respective RTM System Lead VPs and SVPs
    • Prepare content for, participate in, and assist in coordination of various leadership meetings including senior customer meetings such as Quarterly Leadership Councils with Top Bottling Partners, Quarterly Joint Business Planning Meetings with Sales Leadership as well as C&I Executive Leadership teams
    • Anticipate future demands of RTM System and broader KDP organization and work with SAM to design and implement solutions to meet those demands.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, finance, economics, statistics, marketing, or related field required
    • 3-5 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, and analyzing performance data
    • 3-5 years of experience with Sales data including internal and syndicated sales data (e.g. IRI/Nielsen); including report creation, sharing, and managing
    • 3-5 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods industry preferred
    • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
    • Understanding and experience using analytical concepts: hypothesis development, framing the situation, analyzing data, drawing conclusions and developing actionable recommendations
    • Strong ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple projects at once
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, vlookups, and experienced with management of large data-sets
    • Proficient in Data visualization preferred
