    Driver Local Delivery Small Format Route – [Los Angeles, CA]

    The Driver UDS is responsible for delivering product to small format accounts on a predetermined route for advance sales, maintaining strong customer rapport, quality service, and effective merchandising of products.

     

    Position Shift and Schedule

    This is a full time permanent position working 5:00am until route is finished.  The standard schedule is working 5 days, Monday through Saturday, but may vary based on assigned route.  Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.

     

    Position Compensation

    The pay rate for this position is $21.39 per hour paid on a weekly basis.  Attractive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, etc)

     

    Position Responsibilities

    • Deliver products to scheduled accounts in good condition and within scheduled delivery time.
    • Assure brands and packages are rotated properly safeguarding against past-dated products available to consumers.
    • Accountable for cash/credit proceeds and products removed from inventories.
    • Compute and record transactions and convey all related cash, checks and documents to Route Auditor at conclusion of work shift.
    • Provide shelf merchandising to stores upon request by manager or customer.
    • Maintain assigned vehicle in accordance to applicable safety regulations.

     

    This position could utilize the following equipment: Tractor Trailer - Semi - Pup Trailer - Box Truck - 28 ft Trailer - 32 ft Trailer - 53 ft Trailer - Delivery Truck - Side Load - Side Bay - Trailer with lift gate - pallet jack - hand truck - dolly

     

    This position could include: Driving - CDL - Class A CDL - Delivery Truck Driver - OTR - Delivery Driver - Customer Delivery - Commercial Driver’s License

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
    • 2 years of delivery experience and face to face customer interaction
    • 1 year of commercial driving experience
    • 21 years of age or older
    • Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
    • Valid CDL and driver’s license
