    Job Position             

    Responsible for providing broad strategic input into large scale supply decisions to ensure maximum returns on invested capital and consistency with the overall business strategy. Blending strong internal capabilities with creative, external perspectives, the successful candidate will champion new initiatives that demonstrate breakthrough thinking, with direct access to senior executives, this individual will lead highly visible projects that will have a significant impact on the direction and performance of the company.

     

    Duties include:

     

    • Work with senior leaders to help uncover and address strategic business opportunities and large-scale asset investments
    • Provide analysis and guidance on manufacturing and warehousing capacity planning on 12+ month timeframe focused on meeting regional demand growth and changes (e.g., from innovation, new product launches)
    • Provide directional capacity view by technology, by region, as well as capacity modification proposals with supporting business cases and long-term warehousing requirements
    • Support capacity investment / divestment decisions aligned with broader strategic objectives and long-range volume plans
    • Develop business cases, technical solutions and implementation plans as well as lead strategic projects and cross-functional teams in driving strategic efforts
    • Provide strategic solutions that build capabilities and capacity going forward in collaboration with Network Optimization that relate to new plants and/or lines, vertical integration opportunities and insourcing brands
    • Conduct research and analyses to shape the overall strategic dialogue (e.g., financial, strategic, operational, organizational)
    • Build cross-functional coalitions across teams with different perspectives and drive alignment among senior leaders
    • Accountable for driving results, defining outcomes, and ensuring that the strategy is executed successfully to change business outcomes
    • Identify and define business questions and issues, and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis
    • Structure and define approach to new strategic problems
    • Conduct research and interviews with in-house and external sources
    • Synthesize complex strategic problems into clear, actionable plans and ensure execution for success

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements:     

     

    Education:       Master’s Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting or a related analytical field

     

    Experience:     5 years of experience in the job offered or in field of Supply Chain, Finance or Strategy. Experience must include:

    • 5 years of financial modelling and analysis of large data sets for international corporation, to support / evaluate major capital investment decisions (>$10M), operational planning and execution, strategic problem solving and business plan development
    • 2 years experience managing and mentoring a team of professional level analysts
    • 2 years experience leading cross-functional teams involving more than 3 functions (e.g. finance, supply change, etc.) to support major company growth or savings initiatives

               

    Skills:  Candidate must demonstrate the following skills:

    • Advanced proficiency with:
      • MS Excel modeling skills and Tableau working with large datasets with ability to synthesize key insights
      • modeling financial & operational scenarios using MS Excel (e.g. ROI, IRR, etc.)
      • Strong problem-solving skills using hypothesis testing, including framing problems and solutions effectively
      • extract data from syndicated market data for the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
      • extract data from internal data sources and ERP software (e.g. SAP)

     

    • Demonstrated ability to:
      • Lead teams effectively and mentor teammates
      • Influence & collaborate with senior executives across a large organization
      • Work with interdisciplinary teams to solve cross-functional challenges
      • Create effective relationships, influence and collaborate at all organizational levels
      • Manage projects to deliver results on time and in scope
      • develop and effectively deliver compelling MS PowerPoint presentations using think-cell software to VP and higher-level executives in the Fortune 500 realm

     

    • Proficient with the following software applications:
      • MS Excel modelling
      • MS PowerPoint
      • Think-cell
      • Tableau
      • Syndicated market data, specifically IRI or Nielsen databases
      • SAP
      • Crystal Ball

     

    • Working knowledge of Consumer Packaged Goods or Beverage industry, including:
      • Price / Promotion / Distribution (e.g. price elasticities, promotion types, ACV, etc.)
      • Route-to-market knowledge
      • Shopper & Consumer insights
