    Reporting to the VP, Chief Sustainability Officer, this position serves as the primary point of contact and sustainability resource to the KDP Commercial organization and external bottlers.  Support will extend to both Hot and Cold beverage portfolios and appliances.  Support can be categorized into three areas: Sales, Partners/Allied Brands and external bottlers in the Coke, Pepsi and independent systems.  The Sr. Manager is a generalist, leveraging the programs, projects and partnerships led by the sustainability subject matter experts to create mutual value with new or retained customers, partners and allied brands. They will leverage bottler relationships to ensure sustainability targets are met across all KDP branded beverages.   

     

    What you will do:

    Commercial Support

    • Manage all communication channels with the commercial organization including all initial responses to the internal sustainability services inbox (sustainabilityservices@kdrp.com)
    • Coordinate customer audit and survey requests in a timely fashion
    • Create and maintain presentations and tools to support the commercial organization
    • Internal meeting support for strategy and planning to develop mutually beneficial commercial relationships that leverage social and environmental programing and meet KDP and customer goals
    • Direct external meeting support as required for opportunities to attract, retain and/or win key business and partnerships
    • Create and deliver training for commercial teams, distributors and partners to enable integrated business and relationship management
    • Define bottler engagement strategy and execute that strategy in cooperation with the commercial team, including:
      • Communication of and compliance with data requests
      • Best practice sharing to enable efficient resource use
      • Amplification of KDP and industry (ABA) efforts

    Issue and partnership management for Health and Wellbeing 

    • Monitor external landscape in collaboration with Government Affairs (regulation and taxation),  R&D (research), Marketing/Innovation (consumer trends) to define external positioning, goals, partnerships and engagement
    • Facilitate product and portfolio transparency that meets evolving consumer and regulatory expectations
    • Identify, develop and maintain key external relationships to inform KDP Health & Wellbeing strategy and goals
    • Report against internal and external goals
    • Generate content for internal and external communications

    Requirements

    What you must have:

    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
    • BS/MS in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field required
    • MBA desirable
    • Minimum 7+ years work experience supporting and/or leading commercial, marketing and/or cross-functional efforts in a public company
    • Strategic planning and issue management
    • Demonstrated record of facilitation and leadership through influence
    • Passionate about our social and environmental mission.
    • A team player, with the ability to work well across different organizational boundaries at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong written and oral communication, organizational and time management skills; excellent presentation skills.
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.)
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; anticipate needs and be proactive in resolving issues; and follow KDP policies and procedures.
    • Outstanding organization skills to ensure deadlines are achieved
    • Strong ability to navigate in a matrix environment, including intrapersonal communication
    • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and to work fairly autonomously
    • Ability and enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and knowledge
