    Regional EHS Manager for KDP

    The Regional Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager reports to the Senior Director of Supply Chain EHS and is specifically responsible for supporting North America supply chain locations within their assigned region with EHS processes and systems, ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. As a member of the corporate EHS team, they will be expected to help develop and execute strategic objectives targeting EHS systems & processes. Field support, auditing and continuous improvement will also be key responsibilities, requiring flexibility and significant travel (50-70%). Additionally, this manager is responsible for working cross functionally with other roles in corporate, manufacturing, quality, engineering, sales, delivery, fleet and transportation, etc.

     

    Position Responsibilities  

     

    • Support the field with required EHS reports for their respective states, EPA, local communities/etc., OSHA, FDA and any third party clients when needed/requested.
    • Support the field sites with outside parties, including governmental and non-governmental organization/agencies.
    • Serve as a technical resource for their regional manufacturing sites on EHS programs and processes to include overseeing auditing of compliance to all regulatory requirements.
    • Provide recommendations for control and corrections of EHS issues, assist sites with the development of corrective action, and track and drive closure of corrective actions.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between site/region and network resources
    • Manage incident reporting and tracking to include leadership team for their respective region and regulators.
    • Develop and implement guidelines to standardize and improve the EHS system across the organization.
    • Drive implementation of standard systems.
    • Facilitate and participate in site assessments.
    • Establish and lead regular cadence of calls/site visits.
    • Participate in site special events such as process improvement, test project work, new equipment, etc. Facilitate and/or lead Kaizens where needed for continuous improvement in EHS areas.
    • Drive gap closure (resources, schedule, etc.)
    • Support sites as required when the site EHS representative is not available.

     

    Skills

    • 5-7 years of management experience in a Manufacturing environment, preferably Food and Beverage. EHS manager preferable.
    • Certifications in OSHA General Industrial, Waste Water Collection and Basic Water Distribution, EPA, DOT, Radiation Safety, ISO (14001, etc), Lean Six Sigma would be a plus.
    • Bachelor Degree (Science/Engineering based disciplines preferred)

    5 years of EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment

    2 years of people management

    5 years using MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
